Saturday
Got up this morning at 7:30 and I was out the door at 8:15 .... Yes stupid I know but there was training to be done I had a session planned with Steven Campbell at 9:00.
I trained with Steven for a good hour and I felt I should have left my brown belt behind when i left. He is a is a very good teacher and grappler i plan on making a few more trips over some info on him can be found on his site:-

After my first session ... I made my way over to Bradford to train at jimmys gym and jump in on the wrestling class ... only there wasn't one .... doh!
Qas, James and I convinced the girl to let us in and train any way so we spent about an hour wrestling, no tech just live sparring. Over all we looked tired and had a good work out .... but it was not over.
I got Qas to join the conditioning session James and I had planned to do after the wrestling (yes .... a stupid idea I know) at a little gym near the edge of Leeds city centre with a chap call Q.
Q (forgot his full name ... sorry mate) had come back from the Gladitors tv show and been training James for the last couple of weeks .... I have been told all kinds of horror stories, but for some reason they did not put me off .... I must need my head checking.
Q got us to do a little run around the block and then the work started with 20kg bars and many .. many reps. After the bar work it was chest ... Qas lead the way on that one and seemed to get through it fine, while James and I pulled all kinds of sex faces.
The gym was not very big and reminded me of the old days of training in garage near ponty, no cage, no nice mats, no tv. Just weights and space to train ... ah the good old days.

but that was not the training session over, Q said it was time to work the ads .. ok I thought ... a few crunches .. I am cool with that .... its starts and .... no crunches ... just pain ..... pain, yells and tears.
After the abs was a stretch .... thanks f@~k! ... Sunday might be a rest day
